Picture
editCan anyone add a non-copyvio picture of Munier Chowdhury here? I think there is a stamp issued by Bangladesh Post office, that should be ok as fair use. I do have some pictures, but with no copyright info on them, there is a chance of copyvio. Thanks. --Ragib 18:37, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Hmm, 7 months later, I'm still waiting to find a picture ... does anyone have one? --Ragib Hasan 04:22, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Name spelling
editSo far as I can remember, and also according to Banglapedia [1], the subject's name is spelled as "Munier" in English. Even the Bengali typewriter Optima Munier carries that spelling. --Ragib (talk) 17:41, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Kabar
editUnder section "Political movements", it says: Kabar' was a direct copy of Irwin Shaw's 'Bury the Dead'. Munier Chowdhury, himself admitted it in an interview in February, 1971, printed in the little magazine named 'Onushongo
How come 'Kabar' be a 'direct copy' when 'Kabar' is written in Bengali and 'Bury the Dead' is written in English? I think 'shadow' or 'translate' should be appropriate instead of 'direct copy'. I also believe it is inappropriate under "Political movements" section--Kaisernahid (talk) 21:57, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
