Removing Edits

edit

@Al Shaykh Al Kasuri seems to be a part of Pakistani pov-pushing group continuously removing illustrative explanations of Jinnah Family backgrounds; New edits were saying about Jinnah's ancestral patrilineality not stating anywhere Jinnah being "Lohana of Thakkar" etc; and sources from https://www.britannica.com/biography/Mohammed-Ali-Jinnah & https://www.dawn.com/news/1728170 are well trusted and has been used many times in other parts of the article which clearly mentions that Jinnah being of Khoja lineage and Khojas are Lohana caste Gujrati Hindus of Thakkar background who had converted to Shia sect of Islam some centuries ago and are the followers of Aga Khan. As I highlighted earlier, Asyro2k24 seems to be part of the Indian pov-pushing group. They just copied my statements and still have not provided a single source for Jinnah being "Lohana of Thakkar Hindu". None of the four sources provided (Hindustan Times, Dawn, Britannica and the NY Times) mention "Jinnah having a Hindu Lohana of Thakkar background". As for Khoja, it is already mentioned in the line Jinnah was a Khoja of Nizari Isma'ili Shia Muslim background from Gujarat, though he later followed the Twelver Shi'a... Since not a single WP:RS is provided for Jinnah's Lohana Thakkar background, I would have to remove it once again and if Asyro2k24 continues disruption, I may have to report them. Once again @Al Shaykh Al Kasuri should go and check properly that it's clearly written things which speaks about Jinnah's ancestral patrilineality not of his current state or religion. In this entire article there is not a single mention which particularly says "Jinnah being Lohana of Thakkar" but where is he finding that he only knows. Just like in other pages like Jinnahbhai Poonja his father's page where it's clearly mentioned about his lohana caste linearity same it should also be mentioned in Muhammad Ali Jinnah page too otherwise how will people know what is Khoja or lohana and how is he related to his father. And sources from Britannica & DAWN are well reliable sources across global and particularly in this article there's a lot of mention of these websites in other paragraphs. If this continuous removing goes on then it will surely took a face of edit war which should not be allowed and need to be settled. Asyro2k24 (talk) 16:07, 4 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 13:02, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Its Delhi not Dehli

edit

The spelling of Delhi is wrongly entered under the photograph "Jinnah arguing with Gandhi". Aadarshi Koundinya (talk) 07:07, 17 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
