I have changed several references to "Mobile National Airport" back to "Mobile Regional Airport." This is confirmed by the airport's own website. If a name change is occurring, of which I'm unaware, the article should be updated when that happens. Goeverywhere02:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
This article seems to confuse Mobile's downtown airport which was Bates Field (subsequently Brookley AFB, now Brookley Aeroplex) and the current Mobile Regional Airport which this article is ostensibly about. The Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is in far western Mobile, outside of the city limits, while Bates Field, now Brookley Aeroplex and site of the future Airbus factory, is many miles away in downtown Mobile fronting Mobile Bay.
