editI hope the page is OK - I'm not sure why it came up as a possible deletion. Maybe the sources I list should be used as footnotes instead of bibliography? I just wasn't quite sure how to do that.
Is this the right Michael Sands????
edit"He's a Defense Department contractor in California who (before he got sober 10 years ago) was arrested four times, jailed once and lost his driving privileges for three years for driving drunk." I think someone might be having a laugh? TeapotgeorgeTalk 20:57, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi Teapot, yes that is the right Michael Sands. I'm writing a book about the politics of hollywood and Sand's name comes up frequently in connection to DoD/Hollywood —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hollywood999 (talk • contribs) 21:01, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

editthe image here was recently removed. please keep the image, as it is a self-image i acquired directly from my subject, Sands, who features in my upcoming book. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hollywoodpolitics (talk • contribs) 02:22, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
please stop deleting this image. Sands is mentioned in two upcoming books: Professor Tricia Jenkins' "Hollywood Spies" and Dr Matthew Alford's "Reel Power".
Notability
editNothing in the article suggests he is notable? TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:50, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
thanks I have added some details here to clarify. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.130.203.119 (talk) 20:05, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- I've tagged the article for this issue, as none of the sources demonstrate significant coverage of Sands and running the business he runs doesn't appear to be all that noteworthy. Mbinebri talk ← 15:25, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
