Requested edit - dissolution and special election
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I have a declared conflict of interest here. I suggest that the following text be added to the "Politics" section:
The municipal council failed to adopt a budget for the 2017/18 financial year because of disagreements between the coalition members.[1] As a result the council was dissolved in July 2017 and an administrator appointed by the provincial government.[2] A new council is due to be elected on 29 November 2017.[1]
Thanks. - htonl (talk) 21:07, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
- Looks good, I'll add it. -- Darthdyas (talk) 22:01, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
