Differences between Memorabilia and Xenophon's & Plato's Apologies
editI just replaced the following unsourced sentence in the article with an explanation of the differences which is more accurate. The lengthiest and most famous of Xenophon's Socratic writings, the Memorabilia is a more conventional apologia (defense) of Socrates than either Xenophon's Apology or Plato's Apology, as both of those works illustrate Socrates' defiance at his trial, rather than making the case for his defense. That sentence seems plainly false, considering the fact that at least Plato's Socrates certainly claims to be making a case for his defense! (See especially Plato's Apology 18a-e.)
