Date of birth
editThere seems to be disagreement between two sources on the subject of Owen's birth date. The Texas State Historical Association gives May 3, 1892, but LCAuth cites Ted Stafford's biography of her (a work that is listed as an additional source in the article) and says she was born on May 3, 1891. Should WP list them both? Vycl1994 (talk) 05:17, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- Vycl1994 Feel free to add whatever you think is appropriate. I cannot access the biography, thus have no idea what it says. Certainly the Library of Congress is a RS, even though they are only disclosing what is in the book. I have zero ownership issues with files. Anyone can improve a file :) SusunW (talk) 06:05, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- SusunW I was hoping someone had access to the Stafford biography, so we could see whether or not the LOC made a transcription error. Without access to the book itself, the next best thing is to add a note on the birth date, which I have just done. Vycl1994 (talk) 06:29, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- Vycl1994 Great minds think alike. My very thoughts, could be an error. I'd actually love to read the book, but highly doubtful I would find it here. Thanks for adding the note. SusunW (talk) 06:56, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
