Hello! I'll be reviewing this one at some point in the next few days. I look forward to it! Moswento talky 13:49, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Good work on this article - it's very very very very very close to GA promotion. The text is very well-written, and the article covers all the main aspects of the road's route and history without any obvious omissions. The referencing looks good, and there aren't problems with plagiarism, OR, or bias. The image licenses are both good too. I just have a few very minor queries/comments below - once these are fixed/responded to, I'd be delighted to promote this to GA. Keep up the good work! Moswento talky 18:47, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Route (aka where does it go?)
  • "The state highway crosses CSX's Lurgan Subdivision at-grade" - This seems a bit obscure: I haven't heard of CSX, I didn't know that Lurgan Subdivision is a railroad line, and I'm not familiar with the term at-grade. Maybe make it clearer that the highway is crossing a railroad line?
    • I rewrote the first part of the sentence and explicitly mentioned that the subdivision is a rail line: "The state highway intersects CSX's Lurgan Subdivision rail line..." The term "at grade" means the road and railroad intersect on the same level; a grade separation means one of them crosses the other on a bridge. CSX is one of the two main freight railroads in the eastern U.S.  V 23:40, 25 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
History (aka how was it built?)
  • "The first section of MD 68 was constructed in 1920 from Lappans to Millpoint near Boonsboro." - I'm wondering if this would be better as "The first section of MD 68, from Lappans to Millpoint near Boonsboro, was constructed in 1920"? The current order seems odd to me. But maybe that's just me...
  • "was completed in 1930, completing the" - too much completing here. Would be preferable to change one to, e.g., "finished"
Reference (aka how do we know?)

Thank you for your review, Moswento.  V 23:40, 25 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

No problem, thank you for your responses. I'm now 101% satisfied that this meets the GA criteria, so am promoting it as such. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Moswento talky 12:47, 26 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
