Diameter?

Why is there 605 km diameter in article and 418 in infobox? Which one is correct? -- fuxx (talk) 17:48, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

The bridge

"In 1953 the science editor of the New York Herald Tribune had reported seeing a twelve mile long structure, possibly a bridge, on the edge of the Mare Crisium crater. This structire could have been caused by volcanic activity. British astronomers Drs. H. P. Wilkens and presenter of the world's longest running TV series, The Sky At Night, Sir Patrick Moore both confessed that the so-called bridge in the Mare Crisium crater had just popped up from nowhere." Compared to Madagascar

it occupies roughly the same position on the Moon's face as does the Caspian Sea on Earth,

Perhaps add some size statistics, Caspian Sea 371,000 km2 vs. Mare Crisium 176,000 km2.

P.S., when I look at the full moon, I see a map of Africa. Mare Crisium is Madagascar (592,800 km2.) Jidanni (talk) 23:38, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

"Sea of Crises"
