Marcus Porcius Cato (II) → Marcus Porcius Cato — Seems like the best way to get rid of the ugly qualifier on this one. Labattblueboy (talk) 21:53, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- Oppose I think. Since both Cato the Elder & Younger had this name, plus various others, it is hard to see why he should take the plain term, or why he is "II" - as far as I can see cases could be made for III, IV, V & VI, & no refs are given for II being used for him - if they were I might change my mind. I agree the plain name should go to the disam. Ideally another disambiguating term should be used - date of death, "ally of Brutus", "assassin of Caesar"? Johnbod (talk) 18:03, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
