Decimal marker
editPlease be reminded that in English it is a decimal POINT, not a comma, see {{BS-header|Princpal Stations and structures}}
. I won't take the time to go thru this now. Peter Horn 19:50, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Peter, why did you add convert template to kilometre markings in the route map? I find this to be distracting and cluttered, and not especially useful. I do agree with your decimal point comment, though. —fudoreaper (talk) 07:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

In 2007, Madrid - Barcelona was not the busiest air route in the world. Busiest is measured in terms of passengers. You need to clarify "in terms of operations". By Passengers its a distant 5th.
Separate article on Barcelona - Figueres needed
editThere needs to be a separate article on the line Barcelona Sants - Figueres which is still under construction at this moment in time, with a section or again an independent article on the tunnel Sants - La Sagrera, about which I have just added a section in the general AVE article. The article Madrid-Barcelona high-speed rail line should only cover that strech which is operational for some years now, from Madrid to Barcelona-Sants. The next part, Barcelona to Figueres is another project in a completely different stage of realization. --L.Willms (talk) 16:24, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hi L.Wiillms
I'm not sure why another article is needed for what appears to be a section of the same line?
Section | Dated opened |
---|---|
Madrid-Lleida | 2003 |
Lleida-Camp de Tarragona | 2006 |
Camp de Tarragon-Barcelona | 2008 |
Barcelona-Figueres | 2012 |

- No, Barcelona - Figueres is something different, a different traffic. There was Madrid - Barcelona, and today is Barcelona - Figueres. There is an article on Madrid - Barcelona, and an article on Figueres - Perpiña, but the one new line which is to be taken into operation this december is not covered. By your argument, one could create an article "Madrid - Paris" and put every article on a part of the way into that one. There are really different beasts. --L.Willms (talk) 23:06, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
- You are saying the two lines are different, but why would it help readers to have a new article covering the section of line from Barcelona to Figueres? Edgepedia (talk) 05:54, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Whether as a part of this article or not, the Barcelona - Figueres Vilafant line was inaugurated on 9 January 2013, so this page should be updated, and either renamed or a new Barcelona-Figueres page should be created.Ripero (talk) 17:27, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
