Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō → Maboroshi – "Maboroshi" is the official English name of this film. RealNath7383 (talk) 10:54, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Well, there's a title which was titled Maborosi (Japanese title: Maboroshi no Hikari), so is the anime film title for Netflix remained unchanged? VernardoLau (talk) 16:29, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Support as draft creator; WP:SMALLDIFFERENCES allows using the romanization difference as a natural disambiguator. A hatnote should be sufficient to resolve any confusion between the pages. Link20XX (talk) 16:35, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "romanization difference"? Do I rename the article to "Maboroshi" only? Or is "Maboroshi (film)" better? RealNath7383 (talk) 18:01, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- No disambiguation is necessary; by romanization difference, I was pointing out that, correct me if I'm wrong, "Maborosi" is the Kunrei-shiki romanization, where "Maboroshi" is the Hepburn romanization. This difference is enough to disambiguate the titles. Link20XX (talk) 18:26, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, so I assume it's safe to rename the article to just "Maboroshi" (with italic)? RealNath7383 (talk) 19:55, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- I think so. Link20XX (talk) 23:56, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
- Just making sure, how do I exactly make italic title in the "Move page"? Is it "{{Maboroshi}}"? RealNath7383 (talk) 02:46, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Wait, or is it "{{Lowercase title|italic=yes}} Maboroshi"? How exactly should I write it in the "Move page"? The instructions in Template:Italic title are not clear enough for me. RealNath7383 (talk) 02:49, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Nvm, the bracket "{" and "}" are not even accepted in the input field. It automatically turns red. RealNath7383 (talk) 03:00, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Just moving the page to "Maboroshi" (minus the quotes) is sufficient; the infobox will automatically italicize the title. Link20XX (talk) 03:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- I can't move it. It says: "The page could not be moved, for the following reason: A redirect already exists at Maboroshi, and it cannot be deleted automatically." RealNath7383 (talk) 05:27, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Per WP:MOVE#Moves where the target name has an existing page, non-administrators can only move a page over another page if that page only has one edit in its history and is a redirect to the page trying to be moved. However, Maboroshi is not a redirect to this page, so a non-administrator can't move it to that title. Link20XX (talk) 06:06, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- I see. Can you help moving this article (if you're an administrator)? RealNath7383 (talk) 10:21, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- I am not an administrator, nor do I have the page mover user right, so I cannot help here. Whoever closes this move request will be able to help though. Link20XX (talk) 15:53, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

- Support per nomination. Both https://maboroshi.movie/ and Anime News Network refer to it as "Maboroshi". No need for the redirect — 1995's Maborosi a/k/a Maborosi no Hikari is a different film from 28 years ago. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 18:19, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
