edit@176.15.220.87: If the website is being used as a source, it shouldn't be in external links but in references. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 20:29, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Keith-264: Thank you, I have corrected my mistake. --85.249.31.96 (talk) 21:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh that's all right, I've made plenty lately. ;O) Keith-264 (talk) 21:17, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- I've tried to reorganise the footnotes and citations but that included taking out a book edited by Petrov, which looked like a duplicate. Cite book looks like this * {{cite book |title= |last= |first= |author-link= |year= |publisher= |location= |edition= |isbn=}} Template:Cite book has the full version but it does say that books not in English should have trans-title= * {{cite book |last= |first= |date= |title= |trans-title= |url= |language= |location= |publisher= |isbn=}} qith redundant criteria ignored. With some of the books and journals probably means transliterating the Cyrillic script into Latin as well. [[Template:Cite journal] does the same for journals. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 21:33, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- You are probably right and it was necessary to use the parameters
|title=
(for romanization) and|trans-title=
(for translation), but I am not sure that this is necessary in this case. --85.249.31.96 (talk) 22:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

I'd put the Cyrillic in first and the Latin alphabet version in afterwards for non-Russian speakers since this is Eng Wiki but it's up to you. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 08:21, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Keith-264: OK, I did as you want. I'm sorry if I made a mistake somewhere. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ --85.249.31.96 (talk) 12:35, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

SS Stary Bolshevik?
edit@Lyndaship: You have renamed the article to SS Stary Bolshevik. If SS is the ship prefix for a steamship, then the article title is probably incorrect, since according to the cited sources, Stary Bolshevik was a motor vessel (MV Stary Bolshevik). --85.249.31.96 (talk) 14:05, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes I believe you are right and MV or MS is the correct prefix. I put it to SS based on the translated text in the refs section "The feat of the Stary Bolshevik steamship's crew". I'll move it to MV Lyndaship (talk) 14:32, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Do you have any information on when the ship was scrapped. If it's the same as the out of service date (1969) the IMO number is definitely wrong? Lyndaship (talk) 15:13, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Lyndaship: Unfortunately, there is no information on when the ship was scrapped (IMHO it is unlikely that she had the same out of service and scrapping dates). The IMO number was cited from the following sources: [1], [2], [3]. --85.249.31.96 (talk) 18:55, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
