Squares?

edit

The article states: "Lunar plaques are square stainless steel plaques (9" x 7 5/8")..." I don't want to appear pedantic, but how can a square have different legth sides? A square whose sides are of different length are RECTANGLES. Unless anybody has a sound explanation to why the term "square" is correct, I urge that this fault be rectified. I think they said square because it is stretched on a curve body. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.51.225.117 (talk) 19:35, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

All caps on plaque

edit

I know about that guideline about all caps but I am engineer. I prefer reports that are accurate at almost any other cost to style, emotional response or almost anything else. I think that such is the true spirit of NPOV.--67.212.175.124 (talk) 13:32, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your edit does not reflect the consensus on Wikipedia. I'm an engineer too; that's no excuse for breaking the style. And WP:neutral point of view has to do with presentation of opinions, and doesn't apply to this at all. There is also no need to make the text mimic the plaque, when a photo of the plaque is given. And WP:edit warring can get you in trouble. JustinTime55 (talk) 14:50, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
