The New York Times published his age as 72 in November 2023, so 1952 could not have been his birth year. From basic arithmetic, these two newspaper refs imply that his birthdate was in 1951, between May and November, consistent with the MyLife.com database. Since 2018, several of this article's references have been to the New York Post. According to WP:NYPOST and this detailed discussion from 2020, Wikipedia now considers the newspaper "generally unreliable, especially with regard to politics". For this article, however, our NYPost refs are mostly for the nuts-and-bolts of Brooklyn court proceedings that are consistent with the other refs, and our particular NYPost refs show no sign of the pro-police slant for which the newspaper is often criticized. I think it helps the credibility of our article that it's sourced to all three of NYC's major dailies, not just the two "liberal" ones. NYPost.com also allows unlimited viewing of its ref links without registration, unlike NYTimes.com or NYDailyNews.com. For all these reasons, I hope it's OK to keep the NYPost refs unless there are specific challenges to their accuracy. —173.68.139.31 (talk) 18:17, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
