Why can't someone who knows put a small category on type cameras and film used.

- I can't say with authority exactly which brand of camera was used, but I am confident that production used 35mm film. Lost In Space was a high budget series. At that time 35mm was the standard for such productions. Even Star Trek was shot on 35mm, and it was produced on a much smaller budget. It's also safe to expect that they didn't use Arriflex. I think probably they used Mitchell cameras. - Indeed, I believe you are correct, they appear to be blimped Mitchell 35mm studio cameras. In those days, cameramen were often called upon to do repairs, and were intimately familiar with their Mitchells.
