This article needs clarification. There are two named "Lost Lakes" within Desolation Wilderness' boundary, and one just outside. One Lost Lake is near Triangle Lake and drains into the Taylor Creek basin, and the other is near all the "numbered" lakes north of Wrights Lake in the west.
