How many dramas does it take to be a dramatist? Samuel Taylor Coleridge wrote a couple; one even had successful runs in London and Bristol. But of course he's mainly known as a poet. -- Marj 01:11 Sep 23, 2002 (UTC)

My opinion is that it should only include people who are famous for being dramatists. They don't necessarily have to famous full stop, but people who know them at all should know them as a dramatist. I would say that STC does not qualify on those criterea, but other people who are also famous for other things might (TS Eliot springs to mind). Formatting suggestion

I'd like to suggest a new format for this list. This would space information out to make it more readable. The format would look like this:

Playwright	Birth	Death	Country of Nationality	Notes
George Abbott	25 June 1887	31 January 1995	United States
Kjeld Abell	25 August 1901	5 March 1961	Denmark
Marcel Achard	5 July 1899	4 September 1974	France

Since no discussion took place, I guess this will work. I am, however, redoing the table a bit. It was actually look like this:
