Name

I think the name should be changed since not only national flag proposals are present, but also territories and subdivisions are present. WikiMakersOfOurTime (talk) 21:38, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

Yeah. When I created this article I only intended for national flags, but users started adding flags of regions. I may work on creating a separate "List or regional flag proposals". Germenfer (talk) 18:16, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Earth flag "proposals"

Do they even belong here? There's no official entity to "propose" them to. Most of them are not well documented. Seems like any random organization or artist can design a flag, put it on their website and then link it here. 85.221.149.235 (talk) 20:24, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

I would question why this is a Wikipedia article at all. The whole thing is just a gallery, even including self-references to file quality and Wikimedia Commons. Should this be transwikied to Commons? -- Tamzin^{[cetacean needed]} (she/they) 23:46, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

That might be a good idea. I created it to better document proposals but with not text it is true that it is just a gallery. Alternatively, a paragraph could be written explaining the history of flag proposals for each country, which would enrich the article. Germenfer (talk) 22:00, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
