Wikipedia versus Wikia
editThis article needs a major re-write to trim down the original research. Some of the characters that are minor can even be referred to with characters that appear more often. An example is (Albert "Pop Pop") we can easily add that his friends include "Bernie", and "Seymour" in the same paragraph. Readers don't need to know that Seymour has a left eye with "a mind of its own". This is trivial and appears in just one episode. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 03:36, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
Notable crushes/dating for the sisters
editSince this is a hot topic for fans I am going to do a run through as it effects the character descriptions here:
ESTABLISHED:
- Lincoln Loud - Ronnie Anne, this is featured in numerous episodes.
- Lori Loud - Bobby, this is featured in numerous episodes.
- Luna Loud - Sam, she appears in numerous episodes.
- Luan Loud - Benny, he appears in numerous episodes.
ON THE FENCE:
- Leni Loud - Chaz, hinted at in numerous episodes. Chaz also makes more than one episode appearance.
- Lucy Loud - Rusty. He appears in one episode but is a character with a lot of dialogue. More so than the cameo appearance of Lucy's other alleged crush Silas in "L is for Love".
NON-ESTABLISHED:
- Lynn Loud Jr. - Francisco, appears as a once off cameo character in "L is for Love" with no dialogue.
- Lana Loud - Skippy, appears as a once off cameo character in "L is for Love" with very limited dialogue.
- Lola Loud - Winston, appears as a once off cameo character in "L is for Love" with no dialogue.
- Lisa Loud - David, appears as a once off cameo character in "L is for Love" with very limited dialogue.
In animation, developers sometimes test out characters by giving them cameo or limited roles at first. An example of this is Old Man Jenkins from SpongeBob SquarePants. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:55, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Lisa's love interest David also made a non-speaking cameo in "Friendzy" alongside Darcy Helmandollar and the other kindergartners that Lisa invited over to her house. We need to keep an eye on how this develops in the episodes to come in the event that they become more established like Bobby Santiago, Sam Sharp, and Benny. --Rtkat3 (talk) 19:16, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- Agreed, as long as there is enough appearance evidence to back up the claim then I would be okay with it here. Speaking roles would be preferred as they need to get an actor or actress for the job of an established character. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 22:49, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
Can Lincoln loud have his own Wikipedia article?
editEven though Clyde’s dad’s have an article he is the main protagonist of the Loud House — Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.23.154.148 (talk) 18:55, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- That's no reason for doing so, since there aren't many secondary sources, nor is he notable enough compared to, say, SpongeBob. Image2012 (talk) 11:59, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
- If someone does find the secondary sources, then a page for Lincoln Loud can be established even it has to include the casting information. Right? --Rtkat3 (talk) 01:36, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Some people reverted my edits.
editSome people reverted my edits. Why are they doing that? I was trying to fix some mistakes on the article, but then someone actually undoes my edits. I am not happy about it. It also happened today again. Also, why are people reverting my edits when however, as of, stays??? Maybe I will be done with editing the article since people keep on reverting my edits back!!!! Also, I am not happy!. So please stop doing it. 107.146.244.150 (talk) 07:27, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
- I suggest you look at others' edit summaries in the history of the article and also take a look at your own talk page. Most of your edits here are generally disruptive and either do not follow the Manual of Style or is trivial information. Magitroopa (talk) 22:22, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
Possible merger with List of The Casagrandes characters
editShould this article be merged with the article List of The Casagrandes characters? Image2012 (talk) 08:16, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Image2012: This is not an RfC matter. Please use the proper WP:MERGE methods. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:27, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed with Redrose64. See WP:PM. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 03:29, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
Someone undid my edits.
editSomeone undid my edits. The reason of why I putted Mrs. Gurdle on the page is because she has made more speaking roles as of Broadcast Blues and the episode is real. It has a article on The Loud House wiki. theloudhouse.fandom.com/wiki/Broadcast_Blues The episode has been released in Italy and it was on June 25, 2021. The episode has not been released in the USA. It will also be released in the UK on July 22, 2021. It has been released om Youtube unofficially but has been taken down a lot and re uploaded and on Google Drive. On the day, of its announcement, I thought it could not be real similar to a lot of fake episodes and the fake "Bird boy". 107.146.244.150 (talk) 02:35, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- Wikia/FANDOM is not a reliable source. Magitroopa (talk) 02:59, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
That is true. 107.146.244.150 (talk) 03:07, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
How was this line in the article in Lori Loud's section "confusing and messed up"?
editHow was this "confusing and messed up"? "Lori is in Royal Woods High School, is a senior there, and attends school with her siblings Leni and Luna. However, as of "Rita Her Rights, Luan now attends high school, is a sophomore, and attends school with Lori, Leni, and Luan, so Lori now attends school with her siblings Leni, Luna and Luan, but as of "Schooled!", Luan is now a 10th grader and attends school with Luna and Leni. But as of "Schooled!", Lori now attends college with none of her siblings. In "Schooled!", Lori finally enrolls at Fairway University and has a hard time finding a room on its themed floors before eventually has her backup plan of commute to Fairway University instead and settling on the Water Hazard floor. She is also a freshman there as of the same episode. However, as of "Ghosted!", Lori now settles on a different floor, possibly because a "normal" floor was finally available for her to move onto.". 107.146.244.150 (talk) 03:20, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- For one thing, it is very, very wordy and incoherent. For another, it's repetitive. Image2012 (talk) 09:13, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
On cleaning up this article
editHow will you guys go about cleaning this up? Image2012 (talk) 09:16, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
Edit request
editFor the characters appearing in the upcoming live action special, it says "A Loud House Christmas," but that's not the title anymore. Could someone change "portrayed by [name] in A Loud House Christmas" to "portrayed by [name] in The Loud House: A Very Loud Christmas!" 2600:1700:DA60:E010:F07B:4EA2:42C0:27DC (talk) 00:22, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- The Loud House: A Very Loud Christmas! was the original title ([1] [2]). As of last month, it is titled A Loud House Christmas ([3]). So no, it is correct as it currently is. Magitroopa (talk) 00:34, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
But what about the characters who appeared exclusively in the Netflix movie (Angus, Morag, Lucille, etc)? Brian K. Tyler (talk) 07:11, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
I edited the description of Ronnie Anne to remove the part where it says that she wears a white tank top because she was only seen wearing it in the episodes "City Slickers" and "No Show! with the Casagrandes", whereas in the "List of The Casagrandes characters" article I wrote that she only does in those two episodes. Merger proposal: List of The Loud House (franchise) characters
editList of The Loud House characters → List of The Loud House (franchise) characters – I propose merging the Lists of The Loud House, The Casagrandes, and The Really Loud House characters into one combined List of The Loud House (franchise) characters / Characters in the The Loud House franchise article page. I do believe the content in the list of The Casagrandes characters can easily be explained in the context of the wider franchise, and a merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in a franchise character list. As it stands, List of The Casagrandes characters has eleven references to a list of 60+ characters (nowhere near what it should have considering that), with numerous characters from the series being incorporated into The Loud House following the conclusion of The Casagrandes; as such, either the List of The Casagrandes characters should be reincorporated into The Casagrandes#Characters, or the pages should be merged.
@Rtkat3 and Lazar Alabic 2005: What I am proposing is a page similar to List of characters in the Breaking Bad franchise, which used to be List of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul characters before the franchise expanded to include a sequel film, El Camino, and animated series, Slippin' Jimmy. So information on the versions of the characters from The Really Loud House would be added to the page (as they have already begun to be), along with the concluded/cancelled The Casagrandes, with overview cast tables being drawn up for the main and recurring characters. Coimenda (talk) 10:25, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
- For the reasons given above, I support this merger. Coimenda (talk) 10:30, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Based on the Breaking Bad example, shouldn't it be List of characters in The Loud House franchise?--Eldomtom2 (talk) 16:10, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Eldomtom2: (List of c)haracters in the The Loud House franchise, yes; that was the alternate title I had. Would you support that move? Coimenda (talk) 10:47, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- I support this merge decision. Especially if characters from The Casagrandes are going to pop up in later episodes of The Loud House like Ernesto Estrella did in the recent Halloween episode. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:33, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
The list of The Loud House and The Casagrandes characters articles have been merged
editDid the article of the list of The Loud House characters and the list of The Casagrandes characters get merged because they are spinoff series? But I thought they can still be two separate articles and have some same characters in each of them. I also can't find the topics I started in them. Lazar Alabic 2005 (talk) 20:43, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
Undoing my reversion
editI already gave someone a reason why I undid someone's edit. We do not need to mention games where a voice actor voiced a character in. Just only the episodes. I want that addition removed. Chidie345 (talk) 04:36, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
If Lincoln Loud can't had his own page then what if the louds family can had it own page.
editit could be kinda cool if the family of the loud house had it own page. NatwonTSG2 (talk) 16:07, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think anyone need pages about the family. Chidie345 (talk) 04:38, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
The Casagrades and Sid
editShould we add more of the main characters from The Casagrades since Ronnie Ann and Bobby are already on there.
Also Harold and Howard aren't main characters and Clyde is still a main character in season 4. Noah4000 (talk) 18:49, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
