It needs to meet notability guidelines. See WP:ListBrew for guidance.
That applies to individual brewery pages. "A regional article in which breweries, both minor and notable, are discussed, would be appropriate. Breweries mentioned in the regional articles that develop sufficiently may be spun off in summary style into their own articles." as per WP:Notability_(breweries) seems clearly applicable (emphasis added).98.230.183.111 (talk) 22:03, 16 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Items on lists also need to meet notability guidelines, just not as stringent as those for a dedicated page. So the longstanding practice has been to require a reference note to a news article of some type. Breweries that don't have that kind of reference will be removed.
