a notice
editto United States the M4 survival rifle was a 1949 construction and not a world war two construction
also since this list is of infantry weapons the Ronson flamethrower of 1940 doesn't seem to had been a portable flamethrower but a tank flamethrower
to Finland since this list is of infantry weapons the 76 ITK 34, the 75 ITK 37, the 20 ITK 30 and the 20 ITK 38K don't seem to had been portable antiairplane guns but heavy antiairplane guns
to Sweden since this list is of infantry weapons the heavy artillery, the heavy self-propelled guns and the heavy antiairplane guns don't seem to had been portable weapons
to Yugoslavia the flintlock was a firing mechanism and not the firearm itself such as the smoothbored barrel or rifled barrel early pistoles, early carbines, muskets, musketoons, blunderbuses
and to Germany since this list is of infantry weapons the Vergeltungswaffen V-1 (Fieseler Fi 103 jet bomb), the Vergeltungswaffen V-2 (EMW Aggregat A-4 missile) and the Vergeltungswaffen V-3 (cannons installation) don't seem to had been portable weapons but static weapons
how about an addition

Polish sidearms
editI've found this site and wondering if it's a reliable source for Polish sidearms for troops on exile Book "Wojsko Polskie 1939-45 - Barwa i Bron" (ISBN 83-223-2550-9) seems to be legitimate source but don't know what to think about mentioned S&W and Colt revolvers in the topic Weapon showed in the book -Colt M1911 -Enfield No.2 -SACM 1935 A -Star 1914 Other weapons showed on photos: -Walther P38 (probably captured) -Vis wz.35 (probably taken from Poland)
Somebody mentioned that somebody talked to a war veteran that said that they were issued with Smith & Wesson and Colt Revolvers in Italy but I cannot verify or deny this claim

- Austria got officially removed as it wasn't even a state at that time and shared the same weapons as Germans WWIIEnjoyer (talk) 21:50, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
Belgium
editDo you think that these self published sources can be considered as reliable? I mean they show actual WW2 footage but I want to be sure before referencing them

Proposal: Unify British Raj and South Africa Union with United Kingdom
editMy reasoning: -Both countries share the same weaponry
-Both armies served directly under British Command
-British Malaya is already joined with United Kingom section WWIIEnjoyer
-Gurkhas which served under British Indian are included in United Kingdom section

- They don't share same weaponry, some weapons are Indian Army only, eg Vickers–Berthier machine gun, and some things deployed in Europe did not reach the Far East. GraemeLeggett (talk) 21:23, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
