"Watch: Lil Nas X Corrects His Own Wikipedia Page". Capital FM. 22 July 2019. Retrieved 23 July 2019. Lil Nas X has become a sensation after his hit 'Old Town Road', so he took it upon himself to correct all of the wrong facts in his Wikipedia page.
This article has been viewed enough times in a single week to appear in the Top 25 Report2 times. The weeks in which this happened:
Can anybody here please change Lil Nas X's occupation list (not the one in the infobox) to "American rapper, singer, songwriter, and media personality", and his music genres in the infobox to "Hip hop · country rap · pop · trap"?
The previous attempts to make that request didn't include a link to the source from Lil Nas X's Instagram Story. Given the limited time nature of Instagram Stories, I'm going to try again now with the source included, instead of waiting and risking the Story disappearing before enough of a conversation happens. Change birthplace from “Lithia Springs, Georgia” to “Atlanta, Georgia”.
The source for this information is this post on Lil Nas X's Instagram Story, which is only visible for approximately the next 20 hours. He also includes the name of the hospital, but I left it out because that doesn't seem like relevant information. From my understanding, the reliable sources guidelines allow for the use of primary sources in situations like this one. Davide (talk) 20:43, 4 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
On the other hand, if we link to a source that won't be available in a day, it will be tagged as "needs cite" and then removed. Can you find this information somewhere that will remain visible? PianoDan (talk) 22:53, 5 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
