Fair use rationale for Image:Li-Bingbing.jpg

edit

Image:Li-Bingbing.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Birthyear

edit

There seems to be some discrepancy about the subject's birth year. No really solid sources seem to exist. China.org.cn has a story with 1973 (Top 7 '3S Ladies' in 2011) and a story with 1976 (Li Bingbing recounts growing days in memoir). Lacking anything else reliable to go on, I've listed both. Gimmetoo (talk) 02:21, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

How reallly old Li Bingbing is has been debated for dozens of times, but when interviewed in Korea 2010, she admitted that she was born in 1973. When Interviewer said that "You are said to have been born in 1973, but you don't look so ate all", she didn't deny that she was born in 1973. Here is an article(It's Korean article, so if you wanna read this, use google translater) ([1]) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blast hornet (talkcontribs) 12:39, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

If there is a discrepancy, then it needs to be identified. The "1973" part in your link is only in the "question" part of the interview. Published interviews are often edited and that may not have been asked of the subject, so you can't take much of anything from the subject apparently not correcting it. Nevertheless I've written your explanation into the article; please do not remove sources again. Gimmetoo (talk) 16:59, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Name Order

edit

I thought the name convention on here for names was to list family names at the top of the article in native order with family name in all caps and then written in the native characters? I'm not sure enough about wiki stuff to change it my self.69.148.162.115 (talk) 13:18, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
