editTrivia connecting Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with Dr. Jameson:
In the Sherlock Holmes story "The Adevnture of the Three Garridebs", Holmes trips up a so-called American visitor with a ploy: "By the way, it is curious that you should have come from Topeka. I used to have a correspondent–he is dead now–old Dr. Lysander Starr, who was mayor in 1890.”
Given Conan Doyle's proximity to the Boer War it is likely that his choice of the name Dr. Lysander Starr was (intentionally or otherwise) linked to Jameson.

Blockquote?
editIt seems unlikely that Wikipedia does not have a convention for blockquotes, but I was unable to locate a blockquote feature in my cursory search of the edit page. This article contains a massive quotation starting with the words "Dr. Jameson was very grave and he..." and if Wikipedia uses blockquotes, then it highly likely this quote qualifies for such formatting. I apologize that I do not have the time to figure out this feature right now. hunterhogan (talk) 04:10, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
