This article does not have even a single in-line citation and on top of that, deals with a sensitive and controversial topic. There will be some major excising needed if someone does not step up to improve it. 8bitW (talk) 16:24, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Agreed.
The article reads as an apology for slavery, and the reformer Las Casa is mentioned as someone interested in "extensive Institutional Battling". Talk about bias!
And even the "Summary" of the laws is not credited nor referenced.
"They also established a minutely regulated regime of work, pay, provisioning, living quarters, hygiene, and care for the Indians in a reasonably protective and humanitarian spirit. Women more than four months pregnant were exempted from work." Citation definitely needed.
