She is described as "a childhood friend of Prince Edward of Wales" [ie future Edward VIII]] - but how accurate a description is it? Edward was 22 when she was born!
It states "In 1936 she was 'presented at court to George V and Mary of Teck". I question the year is correct because the King died on 20 January that year after being ill over the preceding month, so would not have been up to receiving debutantes. Anyway the phrase "presented at court" links to Queen Charlotte's Ball which was started in honour of someone whose birthday was on 19 May. So, the last possible year the royal couple received debutantes was 1935.
