editIs it just coincidence that the flag of Kernow is the "negative" image of this? -- RHaworth 07:50, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- This is why I started the article. I can't believe this fact has not been highlighted before. Written evidence of the Cornish flag can only be dated to 1838 but if there is link to the Breton flag, it throws back its origins by several centuries. Talskiddy 09:40, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
The negative thing is certinly odd! Apparently if you buy one in Brittany they ask you if your Cornish because apparently most people who buy them are cornish! Has there ever been any academic study of this+ links between the various breton families arms and flags? would have thought there might have been which would be useful to look for.(WPM) 131.111.8.104
Almost everything on this page are absolutey untrue! except "the fight of the Thirty". The Black Cross WAS NOT the flag of the Duchy of Brittany. The flag carried by the Duke was Ermine, and it was also the flag of the Duchy. The Black Cross was the standard of the Army, but not the Ducal Guards, and also, with ermine spots it was the Ensign (14-16 centuries). The reference given (Rault) is not very serious. - The museum in the Breton town of Quiberon has a history of Breton flags, which certainly includes the one. I was there last week, however, since I didn't know this was controversial, I did not note the details concerning the specific use of the flag and its context. But the current ungrammatical assertions that is has no historical basis are clearly untrue. Paul B (talk) 17:03, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Surely the article should just be "Kroaz Du"? PatGallacher (talk) 15:39, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

I want to add Turkish Translation
editI want to add an appropriate Turkish translation but it says "Only experienced users are allowed to publish". What should I do? Kanarya29 (talk) 10:23, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
