Kraków/Jasná bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics → Kraków bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics – The IOC does not recognize joint bids per Olympic Charter. Therefore only one city is officially bidding, Kraków. --Relisted. — Amakuru (talk) 17:50, 19 November 2013 (UTC) Hektor (talk) 09:56, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- But how is it being referred to in reliable sources? We are not bound by IOC regulations. --BDD (talk) 18:43, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- The Polish press uses Kraków 2022. 195.169.141.54 (talk) 11:13, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support per IOC's official press release: [1]: Six cities have bid this time, all meeting the application deadline of midnight on 14 November. Listed in alphabetical order, the cities are: Almaty (Kazakhstan), Beijing (China), Krakow (Poland), Lviv (Ukraine), Oslo (Norway), and Stockholm (Sweden). NickSt (talk) 01:43, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support - "Kraków 2022" seems to be the common name, and the official name uses only Kraków.--Rushton2010 (talk) 01:33, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support. Nowadays, Olympic Winter Games typically take place at one large host city (Kraków, in this case), plus a smaller "snow resort". But, after all, it's only one host city. Referring to the 2022 bid as "Kraków/Jasna" would be like "Vancouver/Whistler 2010", "Turin/Sestriere 2006" or "Salt Lake City/Soldier Hollow/Deer Valley 2006". Obviuosly, none of these are common names.--FoxyOrange (talk) 09:43, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
