Page move
editThis article should be moved to Kodungallur. Jay 10:31, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Guess there should just be a redirect to this article from Kodungallur as the place is more famous as Cranganore.
Cranganore is found more in European writings and is an anglicised form of the native Kodungallur. The native name for the place is more important. I vote for the move to Kodungallur. Italo 19:23, 31 July 2005 (UTC)

editKodungallur is also a village in Tamil Nadu
editA large village named Kodungallur exists in Tamil Nadu. Infact 2 Mel (upper) and Kil (lower) Kodungalur villages. Both are in Vandavasi remembered from the famous Battle of Wandiwash (anglicized name of vandavasi). I actually thought kodungallur was the wikipedia article on the village to find another interesting article! Idleguy 18:36, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

The meaning of 'muchiri'.
editThe meaning of 'muchiri'. I suggest that the meaning may be changed from 'broken lips' to 'cleft lip'. It conveys the meaning more accurately. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eruditeonline (talk • contribs) 06:43, 7 January 2007 (UTC).

Christian fiction
editWhat idiot is claiming that Adi Shankara denounced Christ? The main problem with the history of Christianity in Kerala is that there are almost no observations of the Nasranis by local, Kerala sources. The same moron is claiming that Mar Sabor started an "Oriental Orthodox order". Absurd. If anything Mar Sabor was likely a Persian Nestorian --- claimed to be heterodox by the Orthodox Church.
Please let's not introduce fiction.
(I'm not a fanatic non-Christian either --- I'm a pretty solid Orthodox person, who does not like seeing historical distortions, whatever the direction of bias). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.16.231.150 (talk) 13:57, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Cranganore
editThis article is written in English and ought to be titled Cranganore. Using the other name is like insisting that articles on Cologne be titled "Koelln" or articles on Munich "Muenchen." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.229.239.236 (talk) 01:15, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
