I stated the reasoning in the prod notice. Essentially, just because something is old doesn't make it encyclopedic; it has nothing to do with the article's length. You've removed the prod, and I've left it at that. If you're upset that I prodded the article, so be it, but be aware that the fact that I think the article is unencyclopedic does not mean I think your contributions are worthless. Far from it...
