v k k m football club
editThe author claims V K K M to be the first ever football club in the area. During 1960s and 70s, there used to be a football tournament in Kaniyapuram Muslim High School Ground, but not the present ground. It was inside the present school area. When the school was separated to Boys and Girls, this ground was removed and a new ground was constructed (the present one). The name of the tournament was S A Memorial and Kaniyapuram Friends Club conducted the tournament. A team of Kaniyapuram Friends Club used to participate in this tournament.
V K K M came into existence in late 70s. There used to be V K K M Football tournaments (sevens) during late 70s and early 80s. These tournaments were also conducted by Kaniyapuram Friends Club.

Business etc.
editPlease don't add lists of businesses and especially not people who allegedly live there without sourcing it. The person data especially, as the WP:BLP policies regarding data on persons is especially strict about unsourced material. Verifiability is one of Wikipedia's core philosophies. If you can provide sources for the information, by all means do so. I realize that such sources are probably hard to come by on this subject - but without them anyone can insert whatever dubious information they want into the article.
