Is Kallieis the city the Romans called Callium?

edit

Does anyone know whether Kallieis is the ancient city called Callium in Latin transliteration? Kallion or Callion in some translations of Pausanias, who says it was sacked by the Celts and suffered atrocities as a result of the Gallic invasion of the Balkans; see Guide to Greece 10.22. Please leave a note on my talk page if you can make the identification, or know what other town Pausanias may have meant. Cynwolfe (talk) 14:53, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
