- It's certainly "older" than the other estimates, but I think it is still useful. Levesque et al. marked a significant step change in the temperature scale of cool supergiants, and for our purposes contained a self-consistent set of data for a large number of red supergiants. In this particular case it also forms an interesting comparison with the direct (assuming a distance) angular measurement of Arroyo-Torres. Lithopsian (talk) 10:32, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
