How are they "partial matches"? The Airport is called "Joliette", the rail station is also called "Joliette"; The diocese is called "Joliette". The title of our articles are not that, which is a different matter. It's like saying Massachusetts the state should not appear at Massachusetts disambiguation because it's the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 65.94.47.63 (talk) 05:58, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Joliette Airport would never qualify for the plain title "Joliette" here on Wikipedia (nor would the railway station or diocese), whereas the Commonwealth of Massachusetts does qualify for, and is at, Massachusetts. Disambiguation pages and hatnotes become a useless mess if we include every entry that just happens to include that particular word as part of its title. Place names are particularly problematic, because there are dozens of potential and existing article on schools, hospitals, businesses, organizations, instititutions, sports teams, etc. etc. etc. that all include the name of the place as part of the subject name. If you include all of these secondary uses on DAB pages, you make it more difficult to find the actual alternate uses of the title.--Skeezix1000 (talk) 14:10, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
