Jiang Siye and Chiang Ssu-Yeh

edit

Jiang Siye and Chiang Ssu-Yeh might just be a mistake in the romanization of his title "蒋师爷" (Master Jiang or Teacher Jiang). --Voidvector (talk) 19:00, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Added, This 1916 report from American Bar Association from the same time period indicated that "ssu-yeh" was a title for someone who studied Chinese law. This means "Ssu-Yeh" is very much likely a mistranscription of the Chinese title 師爺. --Voidvector (talk) 19:55, 21 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
