As yet realised?
editThis sentence does not make sense:
{{quote| Since 1990 he has also experimented with small models which could give rise to sculptures, as yet realised.} I suspect this should be unrealised, but it is difficult to be sure without a specific reference. Verbcatcher (talk) 13:13, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
Use of colour in the 1960s
editIn the Early life to 1960 section we say: "...first a blank white (when primed) canvas, and second, an element (or elements) of one colour...". I think that Steele's op-art work of the 1960s was exclusively black-on-white. He did not introduce colour until later, possibly in the 1980s. Can anyone confirm this, and ideally cite a source? Verbcatcher (talk) 17:58, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
- Confirmed for the 60s here, but it is unclear when he introduced colour. I will adjust the article. Verbcatcher (talk) 19:52, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
- I have just noticed that the lead says "He incorporated other colours into his work in the 1970s.", which supports my edit. However I should read an article before editing it! Verbcatcher (talk) 20:23, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
