Does Iris ensata encompass kakitsubata and ayame?
editThe very first sentence reads: "The term "Japanese iris" (Iris ensata, including Iris kaempferi) encompasses three varieties of Irises cultivated in gardens or growing wild in Japan: hanashōbu, kakitsubata and ayame." However, later in the text kakitsubata is described as Iris laevigata and ayame as Iris sanguinea. There seems to be a contradiction here. I would propose to delete the text between brackets: "(Iris ensata, including Iris kaempferi)". Wating for opinions.--Maechen (talk) 02:28, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
