Just a note on the links to the Dictionary of Philosophy and Psychology
editIn case anybody is wondering, the reason for separate links to the Google Book Search volumes is that, the last time I looked, the general search doesn't tell you which volume is which. On the other hand, the Internet Archive search does tell you, so there was no reason for distinct links to each volume. Also, thanks to user Danny Lost for his additions to the links and for his coping so nicely with the table. The Tetrast (talk) 02:17, 19 June 2008 (UTC) Separate links to individual volumes were also needed for MSN Live Book Search, but that service was discontinued, so I deleted that row from the table. Gene/Genome? Anachronism?
editDid Baldwin really talked about "genes"? That would imply rather a rather premature nomenclature in the late 19th/early 20th century: the Genome article says that the term was introduced in the 1920s. This raises some doubts about the article's correctness? -- 89.247.112.176 (talk) 11:13, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Baldwin and Maine de Biran
editI sugggest that the whole section on "Baldwin and Maine de Biran" be deleted. Only one part of it, the quote from Baldwin, is relevant to the subject of this article, and it is a tiny part of Baldwin's total work. This section has the appearance of something implanted by a fan of Maine de Biran. Dark Formal (talk) 03:00, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
OK, enough time has gone by for objections to be voiced. I went ahead and deleted that section. Dark Formal (talk) 03:20, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
