A fact from Jacques Cauvin appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 18 April 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Jacques Cauvin said the Neolithic Revolution moved into Anatolia via "the acculturation of a local cultural background by a dominant, expansionist culture"?

Did some c/e on the article. A biography infobox should be added. I also think that parts of the prose can be worded more neutral and there definitely needs to be a lot better support for some of the things that are said about Cauvin. Finally, the bibliography should be drastically reduced. Only mention the most important work. There is no need to mention everything he has ever published. Best would be find an obituary or Festschrift that lists his publications, and link to that.--Zoeperkoe (talk) 22:07, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
