Composer project review

I've reviewed this article as part of the Composers project review of its B-class articles. This article merits promotion to A, and should be peer reviewed for recommendations on improvements needed for FA consideration. It could use more images; there are other minor complaints. A-Class?

I'm sorry, but there is no way that this article is A-Class. Look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Composers/Assessment#Quality_scale, and compare this article with the articles just below it (Karlheinz Stockhausen and Arthur Sullivan). From the description: "Very useful to readers. A fairly complete treatment of the subject. A non-expert in the subject matter would typically find nothing wanting. May miss a few relevant points." What would a non-expert find wanting? what relevant points are missed? Is it not a fairly complete treatment of the subject?

Thank you for your opinion. If you could do a better job on Arcadelt, have at it. I spent a lot of time putting this together from many sources. If you would like to "upgrade" it to what you think is "A" class, nothing is stopping you. Oh, and let me add, how would you feel if some drive-by opininator showed up at an article you'd written and said about it, "has to be some joke"? You missed my point entirely. By your logic, readers (who provide feedback at the bottom of this page) should not be allowed to express dissatisfaction with it, but rather should work on it if they find it lacking.

Reassessing: retains A class. I know quite a bit about Renaissance music but I'm not an Arcadelt expert and I didn't see anything I could easily add or want to change about the subject. The article needs more images (you knew I would say that, Antandrus). I personally look for any given screenful to contain at least a part of an image. The media file, while the work is named, is not otherwise identified -- is it a madrigal or a chanson, or something else? Which book is it from? (I note that the media file's description page is also lacking this information.) There are some weasel words in the works list; given that often, little has been documented in secondary sources about the works of composers of this time, the list here is impressive enough for its near completeness. There are minor inconsistencies in the reference list. Most authors are Last, First; a few are First Last. Some listings lack ISBNs for books that likely have them; formal reviewers sometimes complain of these things. Article is A-class; recommend peer review to prepare for FAC. Franco-Flemish

If Arcadelt was indeed from Liège or Namur, he would have been a Franco-Wallonian rather than a Franco-Flemish composer, as they speak and spoke French in those regions, not Flemish (= Dutch). Is there evidence that suggests he was Flemish in spite of growing up in Wallonia?
