The first link to weaponsandwarfare.com is clean. Their blog post is dated 30 September 2015 and includes a verbatim copy of our article from August 2015.[3] From Hill To Shore (talk) 06:26, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Keith-264: I am struggling to spot the text of concern on the second link. However, I am using a smart phone at the moment, which makes searching more difficult. As the second link is dated to May 2015, can you please compare it to our article version of February 2015? From Hill To Shore (talk) 06:36, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
8 May 2015 As Corsica was still under the sovereignty of Vichy France onwards. Hope this is a lift from us too. I've copy-edited some of our text so some of the similarities aren't as apparent as they were before I realised that chunks of text had been lifted from another source. @Excommunicato: Very good stuff but if I may be permitted one cavil, it's 21 September not 21st September. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 06:05, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I fear that I've reached the limit of my sources. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 07:47, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

this is what AI says: "Yes, you are correct. Eisenhower did not want any units engaged in Operation Avalanche to be diverted to Operation Vesuve." maybe the sentence should be linguistically rephrased: "Eisenhower stipulated that no Allied forces engaged in Operation Avalanche, the landings at Salerno (9–16 September) and the French must use their own ships and troops." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.47.141.171 (talk) 12:30, 28 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
