Tragedy and comedy in Islam
editIsn't it true that in traditional muslim world there was no tragedy or comedy concepts? Read Borges "Averroes's Search"--74.58.223.174 (talk) 15:05, 15 November 2014 (UTC)
Redirect to Islamic artIslamic culture
edit
It's hard to see the purpose of this article, given the far more comprehensive coverage in Islamic art. I don't see anything much here that would survive a merge. I'd like to propose a redirect there unless there are any good reasons to the contrary. Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:41, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- With nationalities, we normally have "art" for visual arts" and "arts" for the wider group. I don't see much harm in this, though it is pretty poor. The "performing arts" group don't relate to Islamic art. It needs lots of links, and the best articles tend to divide by language or nationality. Make it a directory-type link-fest, & it begins to have a purpose. Actually Islamic culture does this much better than here - a redirect there would be ok, or copying from there to here. The art section of Islamic culture is very poor though. Strange how it is left to us kafirs to tackle these things. Johnbod (talk) 03:56, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, redirect to Islamic culture. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:13, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- Done that - in fact most was used elsewhere, see the history. Johnbod (talk) 13:50, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
