Merge from Internet Engineering Steering Group
editInternet Engineering Steering Group is a functional unit of the Internet Engineering Task Force. There is no strong indication of independent notability and can be merged here without causing an WP:UNDUE issue or making this article unmanageable. ~Kvng (talk) 19:20, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 13:32, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

Internet Engineering Task Force → IETF – Per WP:COMMONNAME and MOS:ACROTITLE: "Acronyms should be used in a page name if the subject is known primarily by its abbreviation and that abbreviation is primarily associated with the subject". PhotographyEdits (talk) 13:35, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- @PhotographyEdits, do you have any evidence to present? ~Kvng (talk) 16:34, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Acronyms should generally be avoided unless they are almost exclusively used. Otherwise we'd be moving Royal Air Force to RAF. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:15, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Birds of a Feather
editThe Birds of a feather (computing) page redirects to this page (the Organisation chapter), but there is no explanation whatsoever about the reason and relationship between the two. Ericzolf (talk) 08:14, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Birds of a feather (computing) was formerly an article but it was boldly redirected here by NinjaRobotPirate and affirmed by Onel5969. If it does not create an WP:UNDUE issue, we can still merge the content in the redirect's history into this article. ~Kvng (talk) 14:20, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
