Talk:Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme

references and renaming of page

edit

with the recent news which needs to be added in this article

  1. Missile defence shield ready: DRDO chief
  2. With missile defence shield, India in elite club

I think this can be included in the article, should this article be renamed to Indian Ballistic Missile Defence system or should we start a new article Indian Missile Defence System, any thoughts ? -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 18:44, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "IT":

  • From India and weapons of mass destruction: "Indian nuclear submarine", India Today, August 2007 edition
  • From Swordfish Long Range Tracking Radar: "India has all the building blocks for an anti-satellite capability". IT. Retrieved 24 August 2012.
  • From Missile defense systems by country: "India 7th nation with ICBM technology". Indian times. 23 April 2012. Retrieved 8 August 2012.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:54, 21 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Prithvi Defence Vehicle Mark-II

edit

I suggest a new article be created for Prithvi Defence Vehicle Mark-II. At least, a dedicated section be created in this article. This missile is part of the Indian ABM programme Phase-2 (Phase-1 got ready a few months ago). It is significant enough for a new article.[1][2]
