Antarctica Crash Site
editAccording to this site a crashed Il-14 can be seen at coordinates 67°40'16.57"S 45°49'37.27"E (Google Maps). Background given by the site:
On 2nd January 1979 an Aeroflot Ilyushin Il-14 suffered engine failure not long after take off from the Soviet Antarctic station Molodyozhnaya. 4 of the 7 passengers on the flight died.
Anyone able to confirm this? --Lennier1 (talk) 13:59, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Small and Poor
edit"The Il-14 soldiered on in the Soviet Union until the 1980s, and also in other small and poor nations like Cuba and Vietnam." As far as I know, Cuba used to be the richest Caribbean country and Vietnam is quite large (in fact, it has a population greater than Germany). Soviet Union was neither small nor poor. This sounds like some sort of Yankee-Doodle propaganda, it is definitely not neutral.
