Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

The only letter that is capitalized in any of the models is the 'P.' It is 'iPod touch' not 'iPod Touch', the same for iPod nano, iPod mini, iPod shuffle, and iPod classic.
In Hardware section: iPod classic (5th gen) harddrives are also supplied by Samsung at 3600rpm. Is specifying the rpm really necessary? It seems inconsistent with the rest of the table.
Correct sales volume inconsistency between 2nd intro paragraph and info box.
Add links to critical articles (at the moment all links are raving about the iPod)
Second gen iPod touch photo is of first gen iPod touch.
Mistake in iPod line family chart! fourth generation classic photo iPod needs correction from "..4G iPod" to "..40G iPod".. (this was correct, 4G intended to mean 4th generation)
Change iPod line family picture to new iPod family picture
Add the fact that there is no custom equalizer on the iPod, only presets, under the "Equalizer" section
Try to add references to un-referenced paragraphs
Remove iPhone from the list of iPods in the introduction
Keep updated (new models, sales info, etc.).
Add Toyota to brands of automobile makers offering iPod interface to car stereo (not default in all models, must be purchased separately, but is available)
hotlink/cross-reference word "iPhone"
Add in the battery life for the various models (in the model matrix). Battery column added 11/01/07.
Put article up as a good article candidate (see Good Article Candidate page)Passed as Good Article. no longer Good Article
Remove InfoBox at the top of the article
Units sold is duplicated in the summary box on the right
get picture for iPod shuffle 2g
iPod touches cannot serve as external data storage devices.
It's 250,000,000 iPods sold since 2001, not 240,000,000 in the intro/info box at the top.
Create a non-biased paragraph explaining the presence of other Operating Systems for an iPod
iPod Classic 5G was also available in 160GB Done
At the beginning of the article, text order a little confusing - change "All iPods (except the 3rd-generation iPod shuffle and iPod Touch) have five buttons..." to "All iPods (except the iPod touch and 3rd-generation iPod shuffle have five buttons)..." - otherwise it sounds like you're saying 3rd-generation iPod shuffle and 3rd-generation iPod touch.
Reference 10 is incorrect - it's 'Isaacson, Walter (2011) Steve Jobs. Abacus'

Darren Haslett was the inventor of ipod and after talking to apple in 1997 about his ideas was ripped off by apple they never named their products they just obtained the patents and done the development and gave no credit to him also made false claims that someone else was the inventor and bore false witness in court a spokesman for apple claimed anything discussed with Apple automatically becomes there intellectual property and while on the phone Darren Haslett was supposed to speak with there legal team but instead the line went dead Fact ! 78.150.217.161 (talk) 09:18, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

List of iPod models was merged here, but some of its contents don't appear to be mentioned here. It wasn't very well sourced so I won't copy it, but others might be interested in rescuing it. DFlhb (talk) 12:54, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
