Dabs are not SAEs, nor other forms of lists (Dabs exist solely for navigation to other articles)

   Probably there is one song (or at least way fewer than the entries on the accompanying alleged Dab page) that many people have recorded. The colleague's effort must not be wasted: my first impulse was to strip out all the link whose corresponding article fails to mention the song (which must be done for the sake of the Dab page) but perhaps someone who knows the song(s) will tackle the problem. There is here not just a Dab needing fixing, but the makings of an article (or several) that tells how the unrelated songs differ from each other, and an article on each of the clearly independent songs (the versions that are not variations of each other, by which i think i mean absence of evidence of borrowing from a known, or presumed unknown, common ancestor).

I'm not sure I understand any of this, but it sounds like you're saying that the page lists a bunch of covers, which shouldn't have their own entry; in other words, the same song is listed two or more times. If so, I just got rid of some obvious covers; if there are any left, hopefully others can take care of them. Korny O'Near (talk) 17:05, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
