Allegations?
editHe has confessed to doping, so why is the article still called "allegations?" Perhaps it should be moved to "Lance Armstrong's use of performance-enhancing drugs" or something along those lines. Agree? Jesuschex (talk) 01:40, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed, but I would go a step further and say this page is pointless now, maybe include some of it in his Wiki entry --Monstermike99 (talk) 23:33, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- The title needs to improve, but I disagree with the merge proposal. This article captures the breadth and scope of the allegations prior to the confession. This is quite notable and remarkable because despite all that, so many still believed he did not cheat. The article does not and cannot say it, but there is a where there is smoke there is fire lesson to be learned here.
That said, since the allegations are no longer allegations, the title is now misleading. What about...
- Lance Armstrong pre-confession doping allegations
- Allegations of doping by Lance Armstrong prior to his confession
- Something along those lines? --B2C 19:54, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
- I boldly moved the article to History of Lance Armstrong doping allegations, to match the section heading at the parent article, Lance Armstrong: Lance_Armstrong#History of allegations of doping, which apparently has consensus support. --B2C 21:15, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
