A fact from High Roller (Stratosphere) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 7 August 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

The article implies that the coaster was dismantled (i.e. removed) following its closure (Dec 05). However I visited the Stratosphere in May 06 and the track and at least one train (on the track) were still there. There were no obvious signs of missing sections etc that could have already been removed, it looked very much intact (although I don't remember seeing where you boarded etc). I remember this clearly as I wondered at the time why it was not operation and why there was no signage etc. Only later did I find out it had been closed. I have photos from this time in which it is clearly visible. Does anyone know when it was actually removed? Any objections to correcting the article along these lines?
